Position Description:

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team as a key link between business, IT, and compliance stakeholders on high visibility banking technology projects. You'll act as a Product Owner, drive backlog and sprint delivery, and help shape solutions used across global teams in the Americas and Asia. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys equal parts analysis, facilitation, and hands on problem solving.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Gather, define, and prioritize business requirements by working closely with business and IT teams
Own and manage the product backlog, supporting sprint and release planning
Run User Acceptance Testing (UAT), write basic database queries, and help troubleshoot and resolve issues
Act as Product Owner - challenging assumptions, negotiating priorities, and building stakeholder consensus
Contribute to the design and architecture of compliance related applications, applying your understanding of regulatory requirements
Lead critical projects, including Operating Committee and Steering Committee meetings
Coordinate priorities across global teams in AMER and Asia
Partner with production support on Level 3 issue resolution
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and release meetings

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ years in a similar Business Analyst or Product Owner role
Solid understanding of banking application technology and architecture
Working knowledge of infrastructure, web applications, Unix/Windows environments, and cloud based applications
Strong ability to bridge technical and non technical conversations
Project management experience, with Scrum Master and/or Product Owner background
Hands on experience with JIRA for backlog and sprint management
Experience with Java based banking applications and cloud technologies
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Big Data databases
Comfort working with large datasets and performing data analysis
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Professional fluency in English (spoken and written) - you'll collaborate regularly with U.S. based colleagues and partners
Nice to Have:
Project experience with Microsoft Azure
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldExperience leading development teams and driving technical decisions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bilingual (English and French).

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.

CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The determination of this range depends on several factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the specific circumstances of each situation.A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $60,000 to $110,000.This position is currently vacant.
