The PositionMaintain & improve reliability of the BMS system to meet current & projected customer, business & regulatory requirements through the following tasks: people focus, equipment focus & standards gatekeeping.
RelationshipsReports to Manager, Facilities Engineering.
Essential Functions- Develop & execute plans to maintain & improve BMS system
- Develop IA project ideas & prepare PPM submittals
- Schedule & execute plans in coordination with operations schedules
- Support IA projects & process improvement plans
- Develop & maintain system documents, including specifications & maintenance plans
- Coach & train Facility Engineers & Facility Maintenance Technicians
- Employ cLEAN® tools within the main areas of problem solving, project & change management
- Coach & train users of the BMS
Physical RequirementsMay move equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. May be required to be on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May required corrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. May require the ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protections.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering & strong HVAC/utilities troubleshooting experience in pharmaceutical or bio-tech manufacturing facility, especially within aseptic processing preferred
- Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge: Knowledgeable in Siemens BMS - Insight & Siemens Historian - Info Center. Proficient in MS Office applications & SAP preferred
- Organization/Planning: Proven expertise (e.g. project management) in planning/organization & project execution, follow-up & completion preferred
- Customer/Results Driven Understands who the customer (internal/external) is, understands the customers' requirements, prioritizes work & develops processes that support the customers' needs a plus
