Full Job Description
BU Technology - Group Manager for Equifax Inc. in Alpharetta, GA to provide strategic level leadership to identify and implement appropriate strategies to maximize the use of Global IT resources in support of a mid-sized Business Unit (or significant portions of a larger BU) or large region. Focus resources on corporate priorities/goals/objectives while meeting the needs of the BU as a strategic partner. Responsible for overseeing the overall information systems function in a sub-part of the overall organization (major region, region, country, group, division, subsidiary, other sub-part, or a major functional area), or for overseeing one or more of the following areas: internal systems design, internal systems programming, applications programming, telecommunications, networks, computer operations, data warehouse, and/or enterprise-wide systems. Identify emerging trends in IT and determine how these can be applied in a business context to provide business advantage. Manage, prioritize and optimize IT assets/resources across the organization to drive maximum business benefit. Frequently interact with and present to BU senior leadership team as well as senior level leaders across functional COE areas. Identify, recruit, develop and retain a high performance team of professional leaders.

What experience you need

Requires: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a BU Technology - Group Manager or related occupation in cloud software development and management, or, alternatively, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and seven (7) years of experience as a BU Technology - Group Manager or related occupation in cloud software development and management. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Scripting and Software Development in Java or JavaScript with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Angular; Modern cloud native design patterns, including micro services, RestfulAPI, message queues, load balancers, software defined networking and firewall, cross data center availability, data stores, and ETL, monitoring and alerting; Data Security, Cloud Security, FCRA regulatory compliance, and consumer credit; Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services; Big Data Technologies: Bigquery and Redshift, PubSub and RabbitMQ, NoSQL, and SQL at large scale; Service Level Indicator, Objective, and Agreement definition, measurement, and tuning; and Requirement gathering, analysis, definition, and documentation using Aha, JIRA, Lucid Chart, and Figma. Position requires travel up to 10%.
