How will you fit into the big picture?

The Brand Marketing Manager, Business Lead, plays a critical role within the company's confectionary portfolio, helping to shape how consumers experience an iconic and storied brand. Reporting to the Senior Director, Core Chocolate, this role serves as the business lead and connective tissue between brand strategy, consumer demand generation, and commercial execution. This person will bring a general management mindset to their work, partnering across several critical enterprise functions [Demand Creation Strategy (DCS), Innovation, Sales, Commercial Strategy, Finance, Shopper & Omnichannel Marketing, Away From Home (AFH), and other key Marketing teams] to steward the P&L, dynamically manage the portfolio, and ensure in-year and N+1 plans are executed with excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly collaborative, consumer- and data-centric marketer who loves solving big challenges and executing value-add plans.

What will you do?

As the Brand Marketing Manager, Business Lead, you will:
  • Serve as the brand's 'general manager,' bringing together commercial context, consumer grounding, and enterprise realities to deliver plans built for successful conversion at shelf
  • Translate brand and enterprise strategy into clear, measurable, and agile annual marketing plans
  • Steward brand P&L and portfolio architecture
  • Represent the brand perspective, strategy, and consumer in execution of in-year and N+1 innovations, as well as innovation pipeline development
  • Partner with Commercial Strategy, Sales, Seasons & Tentpoles, and Shopper/Omnichannel Marketing to ensure brand plans are deployed and optimized at the moment of choice
  • Oversee all periodic, weekly, and ad hoc brand reporting, serving as voice of the brand across critical performance forums
  • Collaborate with Away From Home in identifying and supporting launch of incremental foodservice opportunities


Minimum Education & Requirements

Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Innovation, Strategy, Strategic Finance, General Management, or a related field
  • Consumer Product experience required; food experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging consumer insights, syndicated data, and market intelligence to drive business decisions and growth strategies
  • Experience leading brand activation initiatives, including consumer campaigns, creative development, media planning, or engagement programs.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with experience delivering recommendations to senior leaders.


Education
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • MBA preferred but not required.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $122,640 to $153,300 per year. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training. In addition to a market-competitive base salary, our Total Rewards package includes performance-based incentives and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package designed to support overall physical, mental, and financial well-being (as applicable).
