Job Description:
Blackstone is looking to hire a motivated investment analyst to join the BXMA SRT team based in New York. The role will include, but not be limited to, (i) performing credit and cash flow analysis on investment opportunities; (ii) supporting the team with trade idea development and pitches; (iii) assisting with transaction structuring and investment committee deliverables; and (iv) overall fund management including reporting and returns analysis. High performing analysts have the opportunity for meaningful career progression and expanded responsibilities within the team; the role is not part of a formal analyst/associate program with a fixed career track.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Familiarity assessing corporate credit, including evaluating metrics such as leverage ratios, LTVs, structural seniority, etc.
Familiarity with large data sets
Track record of working with complex financial models
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Independent thinker, entrepreneurial outlook, strong work ethic and desire to have a meaningful impact in a team with a growing mandate
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound professional judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.In addition to strong analytical and time management skills, the successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:
1+ years of professional experience
Knowledge of the corporate credit landscape by sector, jurisdiction etc.
Familiarity with both public and private credit markets
Experience of performing credit analysis on portfolios of corporate credit instruments
Experience working with structured finance products
Experience using Bloomberg
Experience using data analytics and AI tools; Snowflake, CoPilot Studio, Claude Code etc.
Demonstrated talent to manage ad hoc projects independently with minimal oversight.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the skill to convey information clearly and concisely.

Expected annual base salary range:
$110,000 - $140,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the roleconsist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstones sole discretion.
