We are looking for a
U.S. Benefits Manager who is
strategic, analytical, and collaborative to join our
Reward & Talent Operations team, this hybrid role is based in our
Smyrna , GA Office.
About the role As U.S. Benefits Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering competitive, compliant, and cost-effective employee benefit programs across the United States, with some support for Canada. You will partner with key stakeholders to drive benefits strategy, optimize vendor performance, enhance the employee experience, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting UCB's total rewards objectives.
Who you'll work with You will be working in a team that is focused on delivering an exceptional employee experience through innovative rewards and benefits programs. Reporting to the Benefits Lead, you will collaborate closely with the Benefits Specialist and partner with Talent Operations, Payroll, Legal, Talent Partners, vendors, brokers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
What you'll do - Lead administration of retirement, employee stock purchase, and wellbeing programs.
- Support and execute U.S. benefits strategy and program enhancements.
- Manage benefit vendors, brokers, and third-party administrator relationships.
- Ensure compliance with benefits regulations and reporting requirements.
- Analyze utilization, costs, and trends to inform decision-making.
- Improve employee understanding and engagement through benefits communications.
Interested? For this role we're looking for the following Minimum requirements - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years' progressive benefits administration experience..
- Strong knowledge of United States benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing benefits vendors, brokers, and external partners.
- Proven analytical skills with experience interpreting benefits data.
- Knowledge of benefits budgeting and forecasting processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred requirements - Certified Employee Benefit Specialist or Certified Benefits Professional certification.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industries.
- Experience supporting multi-state employee populations.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems platforms.
- Experience supporting leave management and workplace accommodations.
This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $125,600 - $164,900 . The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
