As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering actionable intelligence to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across banking platforms.
Your key responsibilities- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to visualize complex banking data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Perform data wrangling, cleansing, and transformation using SQL and other tools to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Analyze trends in customer behavior, risk, and operational performance to support business cases and regulatory reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including technology, compliance, and product to deliver insights that drive innovation in banking services.
- Support data governance and metadata management initiatives in alignment with enterprise standards.
- Document data models, KPIs, and reporting logic to ensure transparency and reusability.
To qualify for the role you must have- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a financial services focus.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau, with a strong portfolio of dashboards and visualizations.
- Solid understanding of banking operations, including retail, commercial, or digital banking.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Oracle).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., IBM Knowledge Catalog, Azure purview) is a plus.
- Agile and collaborative approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you'll also have- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is an asset.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
