Azure Cloud Solutions Engineering Team Lead in
Dallas, TX to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering secure, reliable solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role combines technical direction, architecture governance, delivery ownership, people leadership, and cross-functional coordination. The successful candidate brings 8+ years of Azure and cloud-engineering experience and turns enterprise standards into repeatable execution.
Responsibilities: - Set technical direction for Azure applications, platforms, data, AI, security, and DevSecOps; govern architecture decisions, reference architectures, design reviews, and engineering standards.
- Lead and develop cloud engineers and DevOps contributors; set priorities, allocate work, plan capacity, close skill gaps, and build an accountable culture.
- Own delivery quality and operational readiness across scope, risks, dependencies, production support, incident response, service metrics, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data, and Application teams to remove obstacles and deliver secure, reliable, cost-conscious solutions.
Core Technical Environment : Azure PaaS / IaaS / SaaS, Landing Zones, AKS, App Services, Container Apps, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, PowerShell, Bash, C#, .NET, TypeScript, React.js, SQL Server, and Transact-SQL.
Qualifications: - 8+ years in cloud engineering, software development, DevOps, platform engineering, or solution architecture, with deep Azure expertise.
- Experience leading technical teams or serving as accountable engineering lead for enterprise-scale initiatives.
- Expertise applying CAF, Landing Zones, Well-Architected, secure-by-design, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, SRE, FinOps, and distributed-systems patterns.
- Strong planning, coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills, balancing hands-on leadership with delivery accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
