The Team Lead, Master Data - Pricing & Finance is responsible for leading the governance, maintenance, and integrity of Pricing, Finance, and Transportation master data across enterprise systems. This role ensures data accuracy, process effectiveness, and compliance with established business rules and control requirements that support financial and operational performance. The role also leads complex master data initiatives, partners cross-functionally to define business requirements and implement scalable solutions, and provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and direction to team members.

This role is accountable for end-to-end master data governance across Pricing and Finance domains and supports multiple systems, business functions, and process stakeholders. The position requires balancing strategic oversight with operational execution, proactively identifying risks, and influencing cross-functional partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and business-aligned data solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

40% - Data Maintenance, Governance & Stewardship
  • Leads the accuracy, integrity, and governance of Pricing and Finance master data across enterprise systems.
  • Establishes and maintains data standards, controls, and business rules in alignment with enterprise policies and audit requirements, including SOX-related controls.
  • Serves as the escalation point for complex master data issues and ensures timely resolution.
  • Analyzes issues, gathers relevant data, identifies root causes, and recommends effective solutions.
  • Ensures master data supports downstream financial, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Provides support and guidance to team members on complex and high-volume requests.


30% - Process Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Leads the design, governance, and continuous improvement of master data processes.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and scalability through automation, standardization, and external support models, where applicable.
  • Partners with stakeholders to implement enhancements to systems, workflows, and controls.
  • Ensures processes support key business timelines and operational performance expectations.


20% - Cross-Functional Partnership & Delivery
  • Partners with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective master data solutions.
  • Leads stakeholder alignment, requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and deployment of master data changes.
  • Communicates effectively across functions to support initiative execution and change adoption.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for Master Data in cross-functional projects and initiatives.


10% - Leadership & Team Development
  • Leads and develops a team of analysts by setting priorities, monitoring workload, and ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Coaches team members on governance standards, systems, tools, and business processes.
  • Supports performance management, development planning, and achievement of team goals and priorities.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


What you bring to the table.... (Must have)
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in master data, finance operations, business systems, or related role
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash processes, including sales orders, pricing, billing, and invoicing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot pricing and financial data issues across the transaction lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of SAP pricing structures, including condition tables, access sequences, condition types, and pricing procedures.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$107,800-$148,200

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
