Full Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW

In the role of Associate, Financial Information Systems, the employee will be responsible for the following:
• Support the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Financial Information Systems, including Workday Financials and related applications
• Assist with the configuration and support of Workday Business Processes and custom validations
• Provide functional support across Workday Core Financials, Suppliers, Banking, Business Assets, Procurement, and Expenses
• Troubleshoot system and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and help implement practical solutions
• Support new releases, enhancements, and testing activities, including validation of configuration changes of supported applications
• Maintain process documentation and help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and strong operational controls
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve processes, enhance the end-user experience and implement AI-driven solutions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency
• Support day-to-day user requests and contribute to well-governed Financial Information System environment
• Demonstrate familiarity with security governance and its impact on financial processes and access

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid understanding of Workday Business Processes and custom validations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
• 4-year degree
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience supporting or administering Workday Financials
• Experience with Workday Business Process configuration and custom validations
• Familiarity with Workday security governance
• Workday certification(s) preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office is required
• Hedge fund, asset management, or other financial services experience preferred
