In this client-facing role you will assist in gathering configuration requirements from clients and collaborate with team members in designing, building and testing solutions for client business needs. After self-led training and on-project work, our Associate Technical Consultant writes custom code, builds integrations, and actively explores new AI tools, connecting them to Salesforce and other client systems to expand what our solutions can do. Our ideal candidates are always learning, quick to pick up new AI tools and platforms, and able to work cross-functionally. This is a hybrid role based in our downtown Chicago office.
What You'll Do- Interact with clients and stakeholders to determine technical and business requirements
- Write and maintain custom code (Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, Visualforce) to extend Salesforce functionality
- Build and support integrations between Salesforce and other systems, such as ERPs, middleware, and third-party APIs, using tools like Mulesoft or Celigo
- Research emerging AI tools and connect them into Salesforce and other client systems to expand solution capabilities
- Document a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business
- Support the configuration and development of the environment according to client specifications and project scope
- Write and execute unit tests, and document application functionality
- Collaborate with team members to validate that Solution meets business requirements and functions as desired by the client
- Develop training materials for users and other consultants
What We're Looking For- Willingness to learn in a rapidly moving environment
- Foundational programming knowledge (e.g., Apex, JavaScript, Java, or a similar object-oriented language)
- An interest in learning Salesforce development with ability to work cross-functionally
- Active in learning new AI tools and finding ways to connect them into client solutions

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work/project experience
