Overview

The Pepsi Equipment Services (PES) Center provides customers throughout the United States and Canada with a single point of contact for equipment service support. The Routing Engineer supports MEM Equipment Operations by performing micro reroutes of existing service territories to improve repair response times across multiple equipment types and customer concepts. Using routing tools, established national standards, and operational best practices, Routing Engineers analyze service territories, recommend routing improvements, and support the implementation of operational initiatives. In addition to routing responsibilities, this position supports Quaker, Tropicana and Gatorade (QTG) operations by assisting with system administration, site readiness, configuration activities, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate operational data and successful implementation of new and existing locations.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform micro reroutes and optimize existing service territories.
  • Support new QTG site go-lives and existing locations to maintain accurate and operational systems.
  • Provide functional support for QTG applications and operational tools as assigned
  • Analyze routing opportunities and recommend operational improvements.
  • Support implementation of routing initiatives while partnering with field operations and business teams.
  • Recognize operational issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.
  • Assist locations with implementation planning and successful execution.
  • Measure implementation success and support long-term sustainment.
  • Apply established routing standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Coordinate location setup activities, including requests, dependencies, validation, and system readiness.
  • Maintain system configuration and data integrity within CETS and related applications.
  • Support equipment, user, and work area setup to ensure operational readiness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve system issues and maintain data accuracy.
  • Travel within North America as business needs require (up to 20%).

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.

  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with prior customer service, dispatch, logistics, or related experience.
  • Ability to use multiple business applications simultaneously, including Microsoft Office, SAP, CETS, Dispatch applications, and other PepsiCo systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new PepsiCo applications and business processes.
  • Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce (SFS), CETS, SAP, routing, dispatch, or field service applications preferred.
  • Home office application and infrastructure knowledge preferred.


  • Provides leadership for an assigned subset of the following PepsiCo System Administration and support tasks
  • Perform User/System Administration, Troubleshooting, and
  • Tier 2 Support for Genesys Cloud, Freshdesk, CETS, MACHe/MACHp, SCOPE, and Salesforce systems
  • New Users & Changes
    • Process iDM request for new user setup / support internal and field hierarchy moves and terminations.
    • Control user responsibilities/visibility of view and system access rights
    • Oracle Business Objects with ad-hoc Reporting request and daily execution to meet business needs
  • Serves as a business liaison between the Pepsi Equipment Service End Users, IT Teams, and External Vendors for an assigned subset of technical efforts.
  • Provides first line of defense for troubleshooting, resolution, and outage tracking for all Pepsi Equipment Service system outages.
  • Provide after-hour agent support (after business hours and weekends).
  • Provides "subject matter expertise" to support PES tools and processes' design, implementation, and ongoing operation.
  • Responsible for supporting all testing, training, and roll-out of application "bug fixes" and enhancements.
  • Execute manual and automated testing to assess the user interface, performance, compatibility, and efficiency of software and mobile applications.
  • Work with project developers, business analysts, and customer support teams to ensure software solutions meet our user expectations.
  • Develop software test cases based on consumer specifications and requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects found to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Supports the achievement of daily service level agreements (SLAs) with all IT partnering groups.
