Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in IBM i application development and support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RPG IV (ILE RPG), RPGLE, CL, SQL, DB2 for i databases, and FTP/SFTP integrations. The role will support application development, database activities, system interfaces, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and support applications on the AS400 (IBM i) platform.
• Develop and maintain programs using RPG IV (ILE RPG), RPGLE, CL, and SQL.
• Work with DB2 for i databases, including querying and performance tuning.
• Develop and support FTP/SFTP integrations and interfaces between systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and system integration issues.
• Provide ongoing application support and contribute to system performance improvements.
Required Qualifications
• Strong experience with AS400 (IBM i) application development and support.
• Proficiency with RPG IV (ILE RPG), RPGLE, CL, and SQL.
• Experience working with DB2 for i databases, including querying and performance tuning.
• Experience with FTP/SFTP integrations and supporting interfaces between systems.
