Overview

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an Area Vice President, IP & PP.

Responsibilities

Recruit a team of experts in Label & Packaging, Commercial Print, InPlants, & Digital Embellishment.

Manage and Mentor a team of Directors, Industrial Print & Production Print Business Development, Directors Label & Packaging, and Directors Digital Embellishment,

With proven success in the Director IP Business Development role and Sr. Selling Director role, coach and mentor new IP Directors to understand, embrace and be successful with the proven IP sales process and success tips, while ensuring quarterly sales achievement by the Directors.

The measure of success for this position is achieving the Unit & Revenue Plan each quarter. The Area Vice President must have the ability to manage prospects, pipelines, travel, strategy to achieve Plan as defined in the ICAF on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications

10 years of solid experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with a strong track record selling industrial & production print products and managing people
• Expertise in Commercial Print.
• 2-5 years of successful sales experience as a Director of Business Development, Industrial & Production Print 2 years successful manager sales experience compared to unit plan and revenue plan as a Senior Selling Director, IP & PP, or Senior Director IP & PP.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to identify, recruit, hire, manage and motivate top talent from the industry.
• Assist in the deployment of executive technology webinars on a consistent basis to start the sales process
• Provide expertise and input into design process, application, file testing, preparation of materials, and proof of concept.
• Develop mutual collaboration and build pipelines with the Direct Channel
• Ensure Directors IP are identifying Digital Embellishment opportunities and working in collaboration with the Director of Digital Embellishment.
• Assist in identifying KM Industrial & Production Program Best Practices and continually refining the proven IP sales process
• Ability to take on additional products into portfolio and adapt to identify optimal targets and achieve sales success
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, management and organizational skills with a proven track record.
• Proven ability to directly manage and track performance.
• Proven track record of having excellent internal and external customer relationships.
• Strong business acumen managing to "bottom-line" profitability.
• Experience in accurately forecasting and managing the sales of a high growth business.
• Experience with label printing industry Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• History of job stability a must!!
• A minimum of 3.5 travel days per week on Average
