Position Description: CISA is launching an RFID-based asset tracking initiative to provide real-time visibility and accountability for IT and infrastructure assets across a federal cybersecurity mission. We're seeking a Project Manager to lead this effort end-to-end-from early product development and vendor coordination through deployment and user adoption. This role directly supports a critical DHS component by shaping how the agency tracks and secures its technology footprint.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office a minimum of two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Lead the full RFID project lifecycle: planning, requirements, vendor coordination, testing, deployment, and client transition.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and CISA stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear actions.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and status reporting.
• Coordinate physical deployment logistics (tagging, readers, coverage zones) across multiple facilities.
• Partner with asset management and IT teams to align RFID data with systems such as Sunflower.
• Oversee change control, documentation, and training materials to support user adoption.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, briefings, and executive updates.
• Ensure compliance with DHS/CISA security, procurement, and IT governance standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• Demonstrated project management experience from product development through client delivery, ideally within federal contracting.
• Experience with RFID technology and asset or inventory tracking systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex technical discussions into actionable plans for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent client communication skills, including senior-level briefings.
• Familiarity with Sunflower Asset Management System strongly preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance or suitability determination.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, business, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $194,000.00.
