What you'll be doing

You'll be joining CIBC's HR Technology Team. As the Application Development and Support ETL: Informatica, Databricks , you'll be at the heart of CIBC's HR support, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems, and integration with SaaS vendor applications. You'll assemble, implement and maintain flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the HR business and user base. You'll be the Tech lead responsible for the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications. The majority of your focus will be supporting a 3rd Party SaaS solutions that provides HR functionality, having a SQL development background is important for the role. Additionally there is supporting a Databricks ETL which requires afterhours support from time to time as required. The role also requires on call support, over time and weekend hours may be required.

How you'll succeed
  • Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities with SQL and Python scripting. Design the application's technical integration utilizing FTPS deployment and PGP encryption. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions. Develop and support current Informatica ETL processes. Support the vendor SaaS integration from SSO deployment to file integrations and direct development within the vendor tool.
  • Leadership skills - Act as the Platform support escalation point for issues with data ingestion, consumption, pipelines running on the EDGE platform. Proactively monitor data pipeline health to ensure stability and uptime. Support and collaborate with team members by sharing knowledge and problem solving ability. Strong communication skills to interact with both business and technical teams.

  • You must demonstrate 5 + experience in: Informatica 10, DataBricks, SQL, Python, Autosys, Azure. Technical knowledge of SSO integrations with third party SaaS solutions. You have supported various 3rd party vendor solutions working with multiple clients simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new vendor solutions. Experience with Service Now.
