Full Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Application Developer to join a small, fast-moving team in New York. The core of this role is to build alongside the primary architect. You'll ship customer-facing features, harden our data-readiness platform for enterprise deployments, and help turn semantic and FAIR-assessment concepts into working product.

Day in the Life

  • Build full-stack features across a TypeScript / Express / React / PostgreSQL codebase - from API and data model through to UI
  • Develop assessment logic that translates FAIR principles, semantic layers, and ontologies into scoring, validation, and remediation features
  • Work with AI-assisted tooling, including Claude Code, as a core part of the development workflow, and help shape how we use it
  • Harden the platform for enterprise use - security, audit trails, regulated-industry compliance, and on-premise/private-cloud deployment
  • Integrate external systems such as data lakehouses, catalogs, and knowledge-graph stores
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code - strong typing, real test coverage, no stubs or placeholders
  • Partner with the founder on roadmap, architecture, and technical trade-offs
