Job Summary The Application Developer designs, develops, implements, and maintains automation solutions that improve the reliability, consistency, security, and efficiency of software delivery and IT operations. This role serves as a technical resource for automation, DevOps, configuration management, and CI/CD practices, working across development, QA, infrastructure, operations, and business teams to identify processes for automation and deliver reusable solutions that enhance technology delivery and operations.
Key Responsibilities - Develop automation capabilities using Ansible Automation Platform and other industry-standard technologies.
- Automate application deployment, infrastructure configuration, environment management, testing, verification, and operational processes.
- Design reusable solutions that are version-controlled, tested, documented, reusable, and maintainable.
- Collaborate with teams across development, QA, infrastructure, operations, and business functions.
- Contribute to automation strategy by establishing reusable patterns, improving engineering standards, and helping teams adopt automation capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with Client Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years software development).
- 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Working knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
- Proficiency with Git and source-control practices.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Basic understanding of APIs and system integration.
- Familiarity with containers and container orchestration.
- Understanding of software development and testing fundamentals.
- Ability to document technical processes and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications (if any) - Experience with Azure Cloud Development.
Certifications (if any) - Not required, but certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps, or automation technologies are a plus.
