Job Summary The AI Solution Architect will join the AI Architecture & Engineering team as one of its founding members, shaping how a global enterprise adopts AI from the ground up. This role owns solution architecture for the company's AI portfolio, turning capability-based reference architecture into production designs. It is a hands-on position requiring both architectural leadership and coding fluency to prototype and validate designs.
Key Responsibilities - Own solution design for AI builds and vendor proofs-of-concept, including integration topology, identity flows, data flows, and security reviews.
- Prototype and validate designs in code and partner with engineering through build.
- Maintain capability occupancy map to assess tools/builds against capability slots and inform investment decisions.
- Architect Azure AI foundation and governed MCP gateway, including landing zones, networking, identity, and multi-tier model portfolio.
- ead vendor/model evaluations with technical assessments and recommendations.
- Build solution-pattern library to reduce design effort for successive use cases.

- Stand up the capability occupancy map.
- Complete a vendor evaluation end-to-end, from technical assessment through recommendation.
Required Qualifications - 10+ years in software or solution architecture, including 5+ years in enterprise integration.
- Current coding fluency in Python or TypeScript for prototyping and code review.
- Deep identity and access expertise: Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, service principals, delegated authorization.
- SAP landscape integration experience (interfaces, middleware, authorization).
- Hands-on design of production LLM systems: retrieval architectures, agentic workflows, tool-use protocols (e.g., MCP).
- Azure expertise: landing zones, hub-and-spoke networking, private endpoints, Azure AI services.
- Experience leading security/compliance reviews for regulated enterprise data.
- Proven record of shipping production systems and iterating on failures.
- Strong written communication for executives and engineers (decision records, memos).
- Daily use of AI assistants (Claude, Microsoft Copilot) for design and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in regulated/industrial sectors (manufacturing, chemicals).
- Capability-based or domain-driven enterprise architecture practice.
- Architecture experience with enterprise integration/automation (iPaaS) platforms.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.
- Experience working alongside consulting or SI-led transformation programs.
