Full Job Description
Performs analytics, reporting, dashboard development, and process automation on technology-driven data sets to support business decision making. Defines data requirements; collects, processes, cleans, analyzes, and visualizes data to identify patterns and trends; and provides actionable insights that inform business strategies. Creates and maintains dashboards, scorecards, recurring and ad hoc reporting, executive reporting, and automated workflows that improve operational efficiency, strengthen data quality, and support complex data science initiatives. Specific activities may change from time to time. • Collects, processes, cleans, validates, and reconciles large technology-related data sets to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Analyzes data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business impacts that support informed business decisions. • Designs, develops, and maintains dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations that communicate actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders. • Provides support for building custom dashboards and ad hoc reports. • Creates, manages, and delivers all recurring and ad hoc operational, risk, financial, governance, and executive reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely distribution. • Develops automated reporting, data collection, data transformation, and workflow solutions to reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and strengthen data quality. • Builds and maintains data pipelines, queries, models, and reporting solutions using analytics, automation, and business intelligence tools. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements and establish key performance indicators, key risk indicators, and other performance metrics. • Develops and apply statistical models and algorithms to support predictive analytics and business forecasting. • Identifies opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate reporting and analytics processes. • Supports complex data science and big data initiatives by providing expert analytics input. • Works independently on moderately complex projects with limited supervision. • May provide guidance to junior analytics professionals within project contexts. • Ensures compliance with data governance and security standards in all analytics activities. Preferred Qualifications • Advanced degree (Master’s) in Data Science, Analytics, or related field. • Experience with big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). • Certifications in analytics or data science (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional). • Experience in the enterprise technology sector or related industry. • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and tools. • Experience developing production dashboards, comprehensive reporting, and automated workflows using business intelligence and automation platforms. The annual base salary for this position is $110,000 to $140,000. General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position. Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to teammates. Teammates also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and by full-time or part-time status) during their first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays.
