Airborne LiDAR Project Manager to join our growing Geospatial team in Vancouver. Preference will be given to candidates based in Vancouver. However, we will consider candidates located elsewhere in Canada who are able to work remotely and travel to Vancouver as required.
What You'll Do - Lead and manage all aspects of airborne LiDAR projects, including proposal development, technical execution, budgeting, and delivery of high-quality outputs
- Support Senior Project Managers on larger or complex projects and contribute to business development initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Oversee production workflows and ensure deliverables meet client requirements, timelines, and quality standards
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, invoicing, tracking expenditures, and handling change orders
- Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams, providing mentorship and guidance to field and office staff
- Facilitate regular project meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance to ensure successful project delivery
- Promote and uphold safety standards and quality management practices
- Prepare and review technical reports and documentation
What You'll Bring - Diploma or degree in a geospatial discipline such as Geomatics Engineering, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, GIS, or Surveying
- Minimum of 10 years of geospatial experience, including at least 5 years in a project management capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and internal teams
- Proven experience in proposal writing and contributing to successful bids
- Professional designation (P.Eng., P.Geo., LS) or eligibility to obtain one is considered an asset
- Experience in the mining and/or renewable energy sectors is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and work collaboratively within a team environment
What Can We Offer You? The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual's education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
