Full Job Description
NVIDIA is looking for Senior System Software Engineers to join our Tegra system software group. The ideal candidate excels in autonomous workflows in firmware development. They demonstrate strong proficiency in embedded C and Python scripting. They also have a deep understanding of operating systems, kernel programming, and hardware architecture. You will partner with hardware and software teams to invent, develop, and debug the Tegra system software stack, aiding devices from early modeling and simulation to deployment for customers.

What you'll be doing:
  • Build, develop, and validate Tegra Boot and Security firmware across Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms.
  • Participate in the full silicon lifecycle, from pre-silicon simulation/emulation to silicon power-on.
  • Identify, debug, and resolve issues within the Tegra Boot Firmware stack.
  • Collaborate with architecture, software, and hardware teams to advance NVIDIA's next-generation SoCs.


What we need to see:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of proven experience.

  • Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms (ECDSA, RSA, ML-DSA, AES).
  • Experience with IO interfaces (UART, SPI, USB, PCIe).

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
