We’re seeking someone to join our team as an AI / Machine Learning Lead to help design, build, and evolve innovative AI and Generative AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency, automation, and business outcomes across Shared Ops.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Lead Software Engineering position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for designing, developing, testing, delivering and maintaining technology solutions.

What you'll do in the role

  • Develop and maintain AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions within the Shared Ops ecosystem.

  • Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into effective prompt engineering and Python-based solutions.

  • Contribute to the development, enhancement, and support of Python libraries and reusable components.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.

  • Participate in prompt engineering activities and continuously optimize prompts for performance and accuracy.

  • Maintain and update prompts to align with evolving Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities and releases.

  • Conduct regular testing, benchmarking, validation, and performance analysis of AI solutions.

  • Participate in prompt benchmarking experiments and model evaluation initiatives.

  • Support ongoing monitoring, observability, resiliency, and performance optimization of AI applications.

  • Collaborate within Agile delivery teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience developing Python applications.

  • Strong hands-on Python development experience.

  • Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering.

  • Experience working with OpenAI platforms and various LLM technologies.

  • Knowledge of design patterns, resiliency, observability, scalability, and application performance principles.

  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with Machine Learning technologies and vector databases.

  • Experience developing cloud-based applications, preferably on Microsoft Azure.

  • Previous experience developing FinTech applications.

  • Experience working within global delivery teams.

  • Exposure to Power Apps, AI Builder, and Microsoft Copilot.

All our positions are located in Montreal, Quebec.

We offer a hybrid work environment, combining remote work and attendance in the office.

Knowledge of French and English is required.
