Full Job Description
We're looking for a well-connected, commercially sharp AI Business Consultant to be Sanciti AI's presence in Silicon Valley. You'll represent us at the events that matter, find the ones we should be at before they sell out, and get us in front of the companies we want as design partners and customers.
This is not a technical role. It is a role for someone who can hold a credible conversation about AI products with a CTO, a Head of AI, or a VC - and then follow up well.
What You'll Do
- Represent Sanciti AI at conferences, meetups, demo days, hackathons, and private dinners across the Bay Area - as our face and voice in the market.
- Research and prioritize the event calendar. Identify which events, communities, and accelerator programs are worth our time and budget, and make the case for each.
- Open doors. Build and work a target list of companies, generate warm introductions, and set up qualified meetings with the right decision-makers.
- Represent the product credibly. Explain what we do, who it's for, and why it matters - and handle the first layer of questions without needing an engineer in the room.
- Bring the market back to us. Report what you're hearing on positioning, pricing, competitors, and where the demand actually is.
- Follow through. Own the follow-up so conversations turn into meetings and meetings turn into pipeline.
What We're Looking For
- Based in San Francisco or the broader Silicon Valley area, and already active in the local AI ecosystem.
- 5+ years in business development, consulting, partnerships, product marketing, or a founder/operator role - ideally within AI, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
- Strong business fluency in AI: you understand the current landscape - LLMs, agents, AI-native products, build-vs-buy decisions, how enterprises actually adopt this stuff - and can discuss it without hand-waving.
- A genuine network you're willing to activate: founders, operators, enterprise buyers, investors.
- Comfortable being the only person from the company in the room, and comfortable representing an early-stage brand.
- Self-directed. With 10-15 hours a week, you'll decide where the hours go and tell us what you did with them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience representing an early-stage or seed-stage company in market.
- Prior work with enterprise AI buyers or a system-integrator/consulting background.
- Existing relationships with Bay Area AI communities, accelerators, or event organizers.
