Job Description:

In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and business leaders to translate strategy into executable roadmaps, ensure predictable delivery, remove impediments to flow, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and elevate how Agile delivery is practiced at scale. You will serve as a trusted advisor, coach, and change leader helping teams deliver meaningful outcomes through modern, data driven, and AI-enabled delivery practices.

Success in this role is measured by delivery predictability, flow efficiency, quality outcomes, and the program's ability to consistently achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Execution & Value Delivery
• Own and optimize end-to-end delivery for one or more scaled Agile programs, ensuring predictable outcomes and continuous flow of value.
• Translate strategic priorities into integrated, executable roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Enable teams to achieve Program Increment (PI) objectives with predictable, high-quality delivery.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and business leaders to balance demand, capacity,

and investment decisions to optimize value delivery and delivery predictability.

Program Increment Planning & Cadence
• Lead and facilitate Program Increment Planning events, ensuring readiness across vision, backlogs, business value, dependencies, and logistics.
• Own PI-level communications, clearly articulating objectives, business value, delivery metrics, risks and achieved outcomes.

Leadership, Coaching & Change Enablement
• Serve as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, Product Owners, Product Managers, and organizational leaders.
• Drive adoption and maturity of Agile-Lean principles, practices, and mindsets to maximize the delivery of customer value.
• Function as a change agent, influencing and leading organizational transformation through coaching, facilitation, training, and process optimization.

Transparency, Metrics & Executive Communication
• Provide transparency into program health, progress, flow efficiency, quality outcomes,

risks, and cross-team dependencies using meaningful, outcome-focused metrics.
• Lead executive-level reviews covering roadmap status, delivery metrics, PI readiness, and achieved outcomes.

Risk, Dependency & Governance Management
• Proactively identify, manage, and drive resolution of program-level risks, impediments, and cross-team dependencies.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and leadership stakeholders to remove obstacles and ensure alignment.
• Ensure appropriate program governance through oversight of required delivery artifacts and documentation (e.g., program initiation materials, change requests, and closures) in alignment with organizational standards.

AI-Enabled Delivery & Continuous Improvement
• Leverage AI-enabled features within Agile lifecycle and delivery tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or similar platforms) to enhance planning accuracy, dependency visibility, forecasting, and delivery insights.
• Utilize data and AI-assisted analytics to identify trends, predict risks, and support continuous improvement at the program level.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in Agile delivery, program management, or related leadership roles.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within a scaled Agile program or multi-team environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile-Lean principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
• Agile or Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP); scaling Agile certification is strongly preferred (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Program Consultant, RTE).
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices, including CI/CD, TDD, BDD, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for backlog, program, and delivery management.
• Proven ability to lead and influence without authority, working effectively across Product, Engineering, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong communication, facilitation, organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience leading distributed and remote teams, including coordination across U.S. and offshore resources.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with one or more scaled Agile frameworks, such as SAFe, Scrum[redacted], Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS), Nexus, Disciplined Agile, or Portfolio Kanban.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled delivery tools, analytics platforms, or automation capabilities used to support Agile planning, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Experience working in regulated industries.
