Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazing AEGIS Based Defense Guam Defense System Sr Systems Analyst to join our team! In this role you will be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Serve as a Combat Systems material readiness and integration analyst
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert on the overall systems posture, material readiness, and path to operational weapon system certification.
  • Directly contribute to the maturation and fielding of this critical Missile Defense System capability as part of the Defense of Guam multi-service architecture.
  • Highly experienced in the maintenance and operations management of Shipboard electronic equipment suites, and their integration with Fleet systems.
  • Aegis Weapon System supervisory tactical watchstander experience, preferably in Ballistic Missile Defense operations.
  • Administrative oversight of External Communications and Networking System integration requirements as well as the understanding of the complex networking pathways and their associated security compliance requirements - directly contributing to the communications system material readiness, Fleet communications integration, and system certification efforts.
  • Track, manage, and document the administration of combat systems equipment installations, HW/SW upgrades/field changes, and integration test execution results directly associated with the development, delivery, and ultimately the certification of the AGS.
  • Support the Program's installation and delivery milestones, coordinating with Program Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs), prime contractors, and various government agencies, this position provides the essential technical tracking and administrative oversight needed to ensure the Aegis Guam System meets all equipment readiness and operational standards.
  • Participating in technical interchange meetings
  • Ensure the AGS equipment and supporting site facilities material status is properly monitored/maintained towards certification and delivery; supporting coordination and deconfliction efforts with facilities, hardware, software, test, and logistics leads; participation in systems architecture discussions as well as engineering design working groups as it pertains to systems operations and employment; analyzing and advising on courses of action for equipment design; implementation and test observation of an advanced, island-wide, distributed weapons and communications systems architecture.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, or equivalent work experience that meets guidelines established for job
  • Master's Degree or equivalent, may be preferred at this level
  • 8+ years of related professional experience
  • Mastery of MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence or Teams
  • Missile System Experience


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 20+ Years experience or a Master's Degree with 12+ Years experience
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Prior experience with Weapons Systems Deployment
  • Experience with Missile Systems Engineering
  • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
