POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to the HMX-1/DISA Base Operations Support (BOS) team. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of administrative duties in a sensitive and fast-paced environment requiring discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This role requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and the ability to interface effectively with government, military, and contractor personnel.

  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties including scheduling, correspondence, filing, recordkeeping, and data entry.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification (strongly preferred).
  • If certification is not currently held, must be able to obtain Security+ within the required timeframe.
  • Previous administrative support experience in a military, government, or defense contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) protocols and procedures.

The Alutiiq people, also called by their ancestral name Sugpiaq, as well as Pacific Eskimo or Pacific Yupik, are a southern coastal people of Alaska Natives. Their traditional homelands include Prince William Sound and outer Kenai Peninsula, the Kodiak Archipelago and the Alaska Peninsula. In the early 1800s there were more than 60 Alutiiq villages in the Kodiak archipelago, with an estimated population of 13,000 people. Today more than 4,000 Alutiiq people live in Alaska.
