Hourly Pay: $47.20-$55.93

Benefit Highlights:
  • Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage the general ledger, prepare and post journal entries, perform account and bank reconciliations, and support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and benefits accounting to ensure accurate and complete financial records.
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports, assist with month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, including audit support and required filings.
    • Monitor grant and contract expenditures, prepare invoices, and ensure compliance with funding requirements while developing financial analyses and translating data into actionable insights to support organizational decision-making.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure data accuracy, identify opportunities for process improvements, support system enhancements, and promote best practices aligned with organizational mission, values, and regulatory standards.


Experience and Skills
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in government or nonprofit accounting and financial reporting.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in payroll accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), 2 CFR Part 200 Uniform Guidance, and internal control processes, with hands-on experience managing grants from multiple funding sources.
