Full Job Description
Account Manager

Job Purpose:

The Account Manager is responsible for creating and sustaining Sanmina's engagement with current customers on multiple fronts: Demand Management, CTB, Contract Compliance, P&L performance.

Nature of Duties:

  • Responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with Sanmina currentcustomers.
  • Responsible for the customer relationship and works with all Program Managers assigned to the customer account. Works collaboratively with account team to optimize the relationship focusing on sales strategy, sales support, customer service, technology development, and on-going technical and post-sales support.
  • Manages all aspects of the contract, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions.
  • Works with team to develop competitive pricing models and negotiates price changes with the customer. Analyzes customer accounts and ensures they remain viable to Sanmina. Ensures Customers will continue to be profitable and generate revenue.
  • Responsible for identifying key contacts within Sourcing, Engineering, Procurement and Sr/Exec Management within Customer's organization.


Education and Experience :
  • BA or BS qualified (Business Management, Marketing, or Electronics preferred)
  • 5+ years' sales or marketing experience in Electronics or related fields (preferred)
  • General knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing Services industry related to Manufacturing or Engineering with a fundamental understanding of global Supply Chains. Position will provide in-depth training of Sanmina capabilities.
  • General understanding of high-tech applications; communications, industrial, medical, military, alternate energy market segments
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and outlook, strong work ethics with high level of integrity
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude for working with remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations
  • Project management skills are desired with excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize
  • -Overnight travel as required
