Description
JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Account Executiveto take ownership of an established book of business within the multi-family flooring space. This role is focused on maintaining, protecting, and growing existing customer relationships - not building a book from scratch. You will step into a multi-million-dollar portfolio and be responsible for driving customer retention, ensuring strong project execution, and identifying opportunities to expand additional service lines over time. The ideal candidate understands the multi-family environment, is comfortable working in the field, can measure and scope flooring projects, and takes pride in being a trusted partner to their customers.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Account Ownership & Retention- Take full ownership of an existing multi-million-dollar book of business
- Maintain strong relationships with property managers and key decision-makers
- Ensure zero customer loss by delivering consistent service and responsiveness
- Act as the primary point of contact for all account needs
Account Growth & Expansion- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
- Introduce and penetrate additional service lines (turnkey, restoration, etc.)
- Drive growth by increasing share of wallet across current customers
Project Measurement & Execution- Measure projects using tools such as CAD or similar systems (Measure Square experience a plus)
- Scope flooring and renovation work accurately
- Support team members with project measurement when needed
- Ensure projects are set up for successful execution
Team Collaboration- Partner closely with sales leadership and hunters who are generating new business
- Support teammates across shared accounts and market needs
- Contribute to overall market growth and stability
Systems & Process- Utilize CRM and internal systems to manage accounts and track activity
- Participate in upcoming CRM implementation (Salesforce)
- Maintain accurate and organized account documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:- 5-10+ years of experience in: Account Management, Project Management, or similar roles
- Construction, flooring, or multi-family services preferred
- Experience working with multi-family customers strongly preferred
- Ability to measure and scope projects (CAD, Measure Square, or similar tools)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)
- Comfortable working in the field and managing client relationships in-person
- Self-starter who can adapt to new systems and technology
OTHER:- All offers of employment are contingent upon a background check
- Valid Driver's License is required
Compensation Structure- 100% commission
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100K+ in year one
- Immediate earning potential tied to an established $3M-$4M book of business
- Earnings driven by:
- Retaining existing customers
- Expanding service lines within accounts
- Growing overall account revenue
- Additional incentives tied to new opportunities and service expansion
