Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience
Direct Reports: 15-30 hourly employees

Responsibilities & ExpectationsThe
2nd Shift Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations during evening hours, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise daily 2nd shift manufacturing operations to meet cost, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives
- Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of 15-30 hourly employees
- Ensure seamless handoff and communication between 1st and 2nd shifts
- Communicate production status, constraints, and issues clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Drive workflow optimization and operational efficiencies through standard work, visual management, and accountability
- Exercise sound independent judgment in high-pressure situations while escalating critical issues appropriately
- Collaborate with Production Control and other departments to maintain real-time production tracking and schedule adherence
- Delegate work assignments effectively based on skill level, workload, and priorities
- Ensure manufacturing processes support operator ergonomics, efficiency, and quality
- Enforce all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Identify, investigate, and resolve production, quality, and personnel issues proactively
- Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Education Requirements- ?Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, including CNC machining and/or sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and processing
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and production excellence
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold teams accountable on off-shift hours
- High-energy, hands-on leader with strong manufacturing floor presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage people, projects, and operational priorities effectively
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to a respectful, inclusive workplace
- Self-starter with the ability to follow direction while exercising initiative
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols and company policies
