According to their website, they’re currently hiring a full-time “cat cuddler.”

We repeat: a full-time cat cuddler.

The job posting poses specific questions to applicants in order to see if the job could be the right fit— but allow them explain in their own words:

 Are you a crazy cat person and loves cats? Does cattitude come naturally to you?  Have you counted kittens before you go asleep? Do you feed the stray cats in your locality?  Does petting cats make you feel warm and fuzzy?

The employer is reportedly looking for a staff member with a soft touch, who can pet cats “for long periods of time,” can speak softly and engage in “cat whispering” to ease the nerves of some cat patients.

But here’s the real kicker: if you can “understand different types of purring,” you’re basically an ideal candidate.

Did you find yourself worriedly thinking, But wait! What about dogs?

You should know that this is truly a “all cats all day, everyday” gig — the job posting makes it crystal clear that the facility doesn’t cater to pups:

“We are looking for someone to work with our feline friendly staff in a ‘no dogs’ veterinary clinic. We are an equal opportunities employer, however we do discriminate against dogs attending our veterinary clinic as patients,” the posting says.

You would definitely have to live somewhere relatively near Ireland to make it to make it to work on time everyday, but the ultimate excuse to play with cats all day is an application process away.
