Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of strategic AI governance, change management, and adoption efforts for AI transformation programs, with a strong focus on Copilot, Copilot Studio and Cowork.


  • Develop and implement agentic governance strategies, enterprise change strategies, communication plans, and training programs tailored to AI transformation needs.


  • Manage and mentor consultants and workstream leads across multiple client engagements.


  • Drive stakeholder alignment and engagement across business and technical teams, including executive-level sponsors.


  • Define and operationalize agentic governance programs that drive real business impacts.


  • Partner with program leadership to ensure AI governance and adoption is integrated into delivery plans and aligned with business outcomes.


  • Guide clients in the adoption of emerging technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Cowork, as part of transformation programs.


  • Lead the creation and refinement of AI adoption methodologies, tools, and assets to support scalable delivery.


  • Contribute to business development efforts by shaping workforce transformation strategies in proposals, solutioning, and client conversations.


  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders to support program success and long-term transformation.


  • Apply design thinking and human-centered approaches to change planning and solution design.


  • Navigate ambiguity and adapt change strategies to dynamic client environments and evolving program needs.


  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation within the OCM team.


Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in management consulting, preferably with a global firm.


  • Minimum 8-10 years in client-facing change management roles, with at least 2 years leading A transformation programs with governance and change management elements.


  • Deep expertise and project experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, including large-scale rollouts


  • Expertise in key business functions to translate AI adoption efforts into function focused AI adoption efforts


  • Experience integrating AI tools and agents (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) into change management delivery.


  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder landscapes.


  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform and measure change impacts.


  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and facilitation.


  • Comfortable navigating complex, matrixed environments and working across business and technical domains.


  • Demonstrated ability to apply design thinking and human-centered approaches to change planning.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with broader Microsoft ecosystem tools.


  • Contribute to business development and expand Avanade's presence with existing clients.


  • Willingness to travel within North America (up to 50-75%).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or MBA


  • Certifications in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci)


  • Certifications in M365 and AI fundamentals (i.e., Power Platform, Copilot)
