We are hiring a Windows Server Lead to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Responsible for directing and overseeing technical activities across assigned projects, conducting technical analyses, and preparing documentation, briefings, and presentations. Leads on-site teams in the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of IT

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
  • Knowledge of IT systems engineering and infrastructure, including installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of network devices, circuits, cabling, hardware, software, end-user devices, and connectivity solutions.
  • Skill in technical project management and execution, including developing and maintaining project plans, tracking schedules and deliverables, reviewing task performance and work products, and ensuring compliance with technical requirements and design concepts.
  • Ability to lead and direct technical teams during project execution and on-site installations, providing technical guidance, coordinating resources, resolving issues, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Skill in technical analysis, problem-solving, and documentation, including analyzing system requirements and performance, identifying and resolving technical issues, developing appropriate technical documentation, and recommending effective solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively through briefings, presentations, reports, and direct interaction with technical personnel, vendors, project managers, and government users.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including Vendor Project Managers, Technical/Operations Points of Contact (TOPCs), government representatives, and end users, to validate requirements, ensure accurate technical solutions, resolve concerns, and achieve user satisfaction.

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications
  • Seven (7) years of progressive IT experience including at least five projects in technical areas included in the related task areas specified in the Statement of Work. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in all aspects of Windows Server Administration
  • DOD 8140 baseline certification - IAT Level II or Level III
  • Computing Environment certification: Cloud and/or Microsoft Operating system certifications.

Minimum Clearance
  • Top Secret

Physical Requirements
  • Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
