Job Description

Working closely with the Website Strategy Lead, Website Development Lead, Website Managers, SEO Lead, and Digital Office, the Website Experience Lead acts as the bridge between strategy and execution. The role leads major website initiatives, transformation programmes, and optimization projects while also contributing directly to website operations, CMS management, quality assurance, experience optimization, and performance improvements.

Responsibilities

Website Delivery & Transformation
  • Lead the delivery of strategic website initiatives, transformation programs, migrations, and major digital projects.
  • Translate approved roadmaps and strategic priorities into executable delivery plans, milestones, and workstreams.
  • Coordinate activities across content, development, SEO, analytics, Digital Office, and external agencies.
  • Manage project dependencies, risks, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
  • Support the successful adoption of new platforms, tools, AI capabilities, and digital ways of working.


Website Operations & CMS Management
  • Provide hands-on support for website management and publishing activities where required.
  • Maintain sections of the website within the CMS, ensuring content quality and governance standards are met.
  • Support content publishing, page creation, quality assurance, and launch activities.
  • Review experiences prior to release, ensuring compliance with accessibility, brand, legal, and governance requirements.
  • Partner with Website Managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the website.


Stakeholder & Agency Management
  • Identify opportunities to improve website performance, user experience, engagement, and conversion.
  • Partner with SEO and Analytics specialists to turn insight into actionable optimization plans.
  • Conduct website audits and reviews across content, navigation, journeys, and user experience.
  • Support testing and experimentation programs designed to improve outcomes.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled optimization initiatives, including personalization, content effectiveness, and user experience improvements.


Performance, Insight & Optimization
  • Act as the primary delivery lead across website projects and initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Marketing, Communications, Product, IT, and Digital teams.
  • Coordinate agency and vendor activities to ensure delivery quality and alignment with Nokia standards.
  • Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and decision-making forums.
  • Proactively manage risks, blockers, and competing priorities.


Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Support the implementation of website governance, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure website activities align with brand, accessibility, privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and learning.
  • Contribute to the long-term evolution of Nokia.com as a strategic digital channel.


Qualifications

You have:
  • Proven experience leading complex website, digital experience, or transformation projects.
  • Hands-on experience managing enterprise websites and digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of CMS platforms, publishing workflows, and website operations.
  • Experience working with SEO, analytics, UX, content, and development teams.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to translate business priorities into structured delivery plans and actionable workstreams.
  • Experience identifying optimization opportunities and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, delivery-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working within global, matrixed organizations.
  • It would be nice if you also had: • Experience supporting large-scale website replatforming programs.
  • Experience working with Contentstack or modern composable CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled website capabilities, personalization, search, or content optimization.
  • Experience managing digital agencies and external delivery partners.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO best practice, and digital governance.
  • Experience in a B2B technology or telecommunications environment.
