Web Developer to join our team in
Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This
Hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative web-based applications that support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will have experience developing modern web applications, integrating with RESTful services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life-cycle.
Primary Responsibilities:- Analyze and translate user requirements into functional software requirements and technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and user interfaces.
- Integrate new and existing software systems to support business and mission objectives.
- Develop applications that interface with REST-based APIs and web services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Create, update, and maintain software system documentation, including technical specifications and user documentation.
- Assist in the development and execution of test procedures for software components.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality assurance activities.
- Support Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:- 8 or more years of experience developing web applications and/or front-end solutions.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience developing applications that interface with REST-based APIs and services.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging web applications.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Desired Skills:- Modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with software testing and quality assurance practices.
