Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a Web Developer to join our team supporting secure, mission-critical federal applications. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Razor Pages
- Build modern user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks
- Integrate applications with REST APIs and backend services
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases and data access layers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack, including front-end, API, database, and hosting environments
- Implement secure coding practices and remediate security findings
- Support authentication and authorization solutions using modern identity standards
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders in a SAFe Agile environment
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining ownership of code quality and testing
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of web application development experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing web applications using C# and .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core
- Experience with modern front-end development using JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience working with SQL Server or other relational databases
- Strong understanding of application architecture, API integration, and reusable development patterns
- Experience troubleshooting full-stack applications across UI, API, database, and hosting layers
- Experience with Git-based development workflows, code reviews, and automated build processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment
- Experience developing secure web applications and applying secure coding practices
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools while validating and testing generated code
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Blazor, Razor Pages, or Razor Components
- Experience with Entity Framework Core
- Familiarity with IIS and Windows Server hosting environments
- Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities from SAST/DAST tools
- Knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, and modern authentication concepts
- Experience developing Section 508-compliant applications
- Familiarity with RMF, ATO processes, and federal cybersecurity requirements
- Prior experience supporting DoD or federal government programs

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 75k - 95k.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
