Full Job Description
Responsible for maintaining Wealth Advisory policies and procedures, coordinating audit, risk, and governance activities, and supporting client advocacy inquiries and resolutions. This role is also actively involved in firm-wide initiatives, ensuring effective communication of changes, identifying process gaps, assessing skill needs, and driving consistency across Truist Wealth. Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Leads and coordinates matters related to Wealth Advisory policy and procedures, including the development and maintenance of Wealth specific policies procedures and teammate training related to the changes 2. Manages the Wealth Exception Panel process, including coordinating sign-off / participation from Risk, Legal, Compliance and the Business 3. Primary contact for all requests related to testing and monitoring of Wealth specific-policies and procedures, RCSA execution, Business Continuity for the Support org, and process mapping requests 4. Leads and manages Wealth Advisory Support strategic initiatives, as directed 5. Provides execution and operational support for Wealth Advisory Support leadership 6. Works with cross LOB functional partners to determine the impact of system, policy and procedure changes on the Wealth Advisory business 7. Defines problems and organizes strategic approach to gain efficiencies, assigns responsibilities, develops schedules and milestones, identifies structures and processes for decision making 8. Subject matter expert in all processes and roles/responsibilities of the Wealth Support Specialists 9. Establishes and maintains relationships with all stakeholders to understand needs of the business in relation to advisor support and client servicing 10. Deliver a consistent communication process across the Support organization including, but not limited to, All Calls, Advisory council, training initiatives, process changes, and procedural updates, newsletters 11. Facilitate responses to and from support teammates in a specialized Q&A repository to field questions and provide guidance 12. Engage in Wealth-wide strategic initiatives and projects to get ahead of changes and prepare to communicate to leadership and support teammates 13. Serves as an individual contributor, but may manage employees and serves as a second line resource to support roles when and if needed QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on numerous tasks simultaneously 3. Knowledge base and system skillset with emphasis on attention to accuracy and detail 4. Flexible; able to adapt to change and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment 5. Excellent interpersonal and change management skills 6. Excellent oral and written communication skills 7. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight for training and teammate onboarding Preferred Qualifications: 1. 7 + years of previous experience with Truist Wealth 2. Demonstrates strong fiduciary, investment, wealth management, or banking knowledge to successfully support a team of advisors with various product discussions and offerings The annual base salary for this position is $74,660 - $134,380. General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to teammates. Teammates also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and by full-time or part-time status) during their first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays.
