Job Description
The CFI is seeking an experienced operations Wargaming Project Lead to join its talented team. This role reports directly to the CFI's Senior Manager for Operations and Wargaming, and will be working alongside our Wargamer and engineering staff.
What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will serve as a principal point of contact and liaison with the Lockheed Martin (LM) Business Areas, Enterprise Operations, and government partners on operational matters. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of concurrent projects for the CFI that focus on wargames, analysis and experimentation, integrated demonstrations, and modeling & simulation applications and capabilities. Key responsibilities will include the following:
• Participating in and conducting all phases of planning and execution for various wargame campaigns, experiments, workshops, and demonstrations, encompassing strategic, operational, and tactical level planning, management studies, assessments, and outreach to Lockheed Martin business areas, as well as overseeing the development, approval, and ongoing maintenance of plans
• Providing subject matter expert insights in conjunction with wargame campaigns, experiments, workshops, and demonstrations
• Participating in the design and development of these types of events through application of a planning (system integration) process
• Developing professional presentations, worksheets, and documents for leadership and customers

With a talent for cross-functional coordination and a keen ability to determine and pursue the course of action necessary to obtain desired results, you effectively integrate multiple stakeholders, drive program outcomes, and represent the organization to customers, teammates, executive management, and staff with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Further Information About This Opportunity:
This role is fully onsite in at our Lighthouse facility in Suffolk, VA. An active Top Secret clearance is required to start, with eligibility for a TS/SCI. This position may require some travel.
Basic Qualifications
• Proven/demonstrated project management experience including full-cycle project planning/execution
• Experience interfacing with a variety of customers to include military, inter-company, and industry partners
• Established technical expertise in related areas
• Strong Customer Relations expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills sufficient to comfortably and effectively present at senior leadership (business and military) level
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for a TS/SCI
Desired skills
• PMP certification
• In-depth knowledge of DoD mission and concept of operations
• Experience with and understanding of DOD future capabilities and concept development, experimentation, war gaming and analysis in support of the acquisition process
• Experience or advanced degree in OPS analysis/planning
• Experience managing multiple disparate teams concurrently
• Knowledge of CRADA (Cooperative Research And Development Agreement)
• Background in LM Space / SPACECOM / Space Force
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
