Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day warehousing operations, including resource planning and job assignments.
  • Lead and develop frontline employees by hiring, assigning responsibilities, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Conduct routine audits and inspections to maintain compliance with facility standards.
  • Achieve warehouse productivity and quality goals, including managing equipment returns and inventory supply.

Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team.
  • Base Salary: $88,385 - $96,717, this role is eligible for an annual bonus.
  • Location: Tampa, FL or Atlanta, GA
  • Travel: Ability to travel between the Tampa and Atlanta hub locations as business needs require, averaging approximately one trip per month based on home location.
  • Schedule: This position supports a 24/7 operation and requires flexibility to work shifts between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM including occasional weekends as needed. Flexibility to work within these hours is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer (internal and external) satisfaction through the ownership of all truck loading and unloading activities.
  • Own execution and adherence to standards for all Warehouse processes related to inventory and warehousing.
  • Uphold frontline employee safety through the regulation of safety policy compliance, behaviors, and the identification and execution of safety improvement opportunities.
  • Execute all Warehouse management related tasks, including but not limited to: day-to-day warehouse planning/scheduling (including headcount, labor allocation and job assignment determination), establishing team norms and collaborating with Route Operations.
  • Lead/manage/develop frontline employees (Forklift Operators and Inventory Specialists) by hiring qualified team members, assigning team responsibilities, timely addressing attendance/conduct/performance issues, and conducting mid-year and year-end Performance Evaluations.
  • Own compliance to facility standards, to include routine auditing of housekeeping schedules, facility inspections, and security/environmental/general compliance requirements.
  • Uphold and execute all Warehouse productivity and quality goals, including equipment return procedures.
  • Ensure product supply meets customer demand through management of inventory processes

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years previous supervisory experience, within multi-unit manufacturing environment, preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required, with a college degree preferred.
  • Demonstrates confidence and influence in achieving productivity goals
  • Skilled communicator (in groups and 1-on-1), who can set clear expectations
  • Ability to hold direct reports accountable, quantitatively and qualitatively
  • Ability to provide training and development for direct reports
  • Demonstrates excellent role model and peer leadership behaviors and influence
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Able to conduct regular inventory audits
  • Able to safely use various warehouse equipment, including a forklift
  • Valid driver's license
  • College degree preferred / High School diploma or equivalent required
  • PC experience preferred (RMS, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to regularly travel between assigned locations

  • This role supports 2 Hub locations, Tampa, FL and Atlanta, GA, ability to travel between the hub locations as business needs require, averaging approximately one trip per month based on home location.
