Job Description Summary:
The Vice President of Venue Solutions is a high-impact executive leader responsible for deploying, optimizing, and supporting the end-to-end technology ecosystem across our entire portfolio of entertainment and hospitality venues. This role bridges the gap between technical strategy and venue operations, ensuring a seamless, high-performance environment for both our guests and team members. You will own the technology lifecycle for new venue openings (NVOs), structural expansions, and venue modernizations, while ensuring 24/7/365 operational excellence across all current operational locations around the world.
Work location:
This role requires in-office presence 5 days a week at our Dallas Venue support center, supporting our venues during standard business hours.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure scalability, security, and continuous optimization of our enterprise Point of Sale (POS) environments, digital ordering architecture, and kitchen display networks (KDS). Champion the impact and integration of workforce management, labor scheduling, and inventory tracking systems. to leverage automation and real-time system feedback to optimize waste, manage labor spend, and elevate throughput.
- Drive world class technical support mechanisms across US, international, and franchise venues establishing stringent SLAs for venue critical incident response. Collaborate with product teams to oversee structured root-cause analysis (RCA) processes to eliminate recurring technical issues.
- Partner with Construction, Real Estate, and Project Management teams to ensure technology infrastructure (cabling, server rooms, hardware) is delivered on time, under budget, and within compliance parameters. Direct the technical design, staging, scheduling, and deployment frameworks for all new venue construction, structural additions, and lifecycle retrofits. Collaborate with the Platform Engineering and Infrastructure teams to establish and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and gold-image blueprints for rapid, repeatable venue deployments.
- Direct the deployment and lifecycle of complex Audio/Visual networks, centralized IPTV control rooms, digital signage arrays, and high-fidelity venue sound systems. Network Backbone Excellence: Ensure optimal bandwidth, routing, and stability for guest-facing media displays and high-density, venue-wide public Wi-Fi/cellular integration (DAS, 5G).
- Manage multi-million-dollar capital (CapEx) and operational (OpEx) technology budgets, collaborating across the organization to justify ROI on hardware lifecycles and modernization projects. Lead vendor selection processes, navigate enterprise contract negotiations, and hold critical service providers accountable through structured performance metrics and SLAs.
- Building, mentor, and scaling a high-performing, geographically distributed venue technology support organization.
What You’ll Need:
- 10+ Years Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT/technology experience, with at least 5–7 years in a dedicated executive leadership role overseeing multi-unit hospitality, sports entertainment, or restaurant tech infrastructure.
- 2+ Years Demonstrated success managing high-volume tech portfolios (50+ multi-site operations) and delivering complex capital projects under tight production timelines.
- 10+ Years Deep knowledge of modern restaurant and entertainment ecosystems including POS platforms (e.g., Qu, Toast, Aloha), labor engines, and cloud-based inventory systems.
- 10+ Years Robust understanding of networking standards (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN), cloud/edge compute models, and physical security/access control frameworks.
- 5+ Years Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical paradigms transparently to non-technical stakeholders in venues and the Venue Support Center.
- High level of accountability with a strong bias to action and a desire to empower individuals on the team to perform at their best.
- Strong understanding of product development methodologies, software engineering practices, and agile frameworks.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to engage in both high-level product strategy discussions and detailed discussions around product development and engineering.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
