THE OPPORTUNITY The Vice President, Sales - Walmart (Ninja) will own and lead the expansive growth of one of our most strategic retailers from an omni-lens. Based in Bentonville, this executive is the single point of accountability for the Ninja Walmart U.S. business - revenue, profitability, share, and joint business planning - across every SharkNinja category sold in stores and on Walmart.com.
This is a builder's role as much as a manager's role. The successful candidate will deepen relationships at the most senior levels of Walmart merchandising, translate SharkNinja's innovation pipeline into category wins, and lead a high-performing team that operates with the pace and rigor our business demands.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the Walmart P&L. Deliver annual revenue, margin, and share targets for the total Walmart U.S. account, including omnichannel (in-store and Walmart.com) and Walmart Connect investment.
- Lead senior-level customer relationships. Serve as SharkNinja's executive face to Walmart, building trusted relationships with DMM's, Senior Merchants, and cross-functional leadership across Supply Chain, Replenishment, Site Merchandising, and Finance.
- Win the digital shelf. Overdrive Walmart.com growth through expansive traffic, relentless CVR and partnering with WMC to create meaningful campaigns for our brand. This leader will also serve as the thought leader to drive our Scintilla partnership toward creating meaningful LTV and basket building to support long-term profitable growth for Ninja and Walmart.
- Drive joint business planning. Own the annual AOP process end to end - line reviews, modular resets, assortment strategy, pricing architecture, and promotional calendar - with clear, mutually agreed growth targets.
- Build the category and channel strategy. Partner with Brand, Product, and Category Management to shape the assortment and innovation roadmap specifically for the Walmart shopper, including exclusive and channel-specific offerings.
- Lead and develop the team. Build, coach, and retain a market-based team of sales, account management, and planning talent; set clear standards for forecast accuracy, customer readiness, and executional excellence.
- Own forecasting and supply collaboration. Deliver accurate demand forecasts and partner closely with Supply Chain and Operations to protect in-stock performance, manage inventory health, and support new-item launches at scale.
- Represent the customer internally. Bring the voice of Walmart into SharkNinja's product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions, and present the state of the business to senior leadership on a regular cadence.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN YEAR ONE - Delivered or exceeded the revenue, margin, and market share plan for the Walmart account.
- Established credible, senior-level relationships across Walmart merchandising and cross-functional leadership.
- A signed joint business plan with clear omni-overdrive with digital driving 2-3X in-store growth, modular wins, and a defined innovation runway.
- Measurable improvement in forecast accuracy, in-stock rates, and inventory health.
- A stable, high-performing team with clear roles, accountability, and a succession bench.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING - 10+ years of progressive sales and account leadership experience in consumer products, durables, or a closely related industry.
- Direct, current Walmart experience is required - a demonstrated track record of managing and growing a large Walmart account, with existing relationships in Bentonville.
- Proven P&L ownership of a $300M+ account or business unit, including trade investment and profitability management.
- Deep command of Walmart systems, processes, and ways of working (Retail Link, modular and line review cycles, Scintilla, Walmart Connect).
- Experience leading and developing teams, including managing managers.
- Strong analytical fluency - comfortable moving between syndicated data, POS trends, financial modeling, and executive storytelling.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Northwest Arkansas.
THE KIND OF LEADER WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Rarely satisfied. Sets a higher bar than the customer does and keeps moving it.
- Fast and decisive. Thrives in a business that moves quickly and makes calls without perfect information.
- Commercially creative. Finds growth in assortment, pricing, and channel strategy - not just in promotion.
- Builds followership. Attracts strong talent and earns trust with both the customer and the internal organization.
- Executive presence. Credible and concise in front of Walmart leadership and SharkNinja's executive team.
