Job Duties
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive 12-month strategy to grow national and regional General Contractor partnerships.
  • Identify and prioritize target GCs (e.g., DPR Construction, Turner, Moss) to penetrate new markets and expand wallet share.
  • Connect the dots on the enterprise side to ensure our national brand presents a unified front across all 14 regional offices.
  • Lead and hold accountable a sales force of approximately 60 reps, ensuring they remain tenacious in mushrooming existing accounts.
  • Foster strong working relationships with Divisional Presidents who maintain local P&L responsibility.
  • Drive the "top of the funnel" by generating new project opportunities and high-level project leads across all markets.
  • Implement strategies to increase cross-sell engagement between the Electrical, Plumbing, Gate and Security entities.
  • Lead the negotiation and management of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and preferred vendor status with major national players.
  • Drive growth into key markets including Las Vegas, Portland, Chicago, Dallas, California, North Carolina, and Florida.
  • Spearhead sales efforts into specialized sectors, specifically targeting the national Data Center build-out and large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure full transparency and compliance within the CRM (Salesforce) to track pipeline, account mapping, and executive outreach.
  • Represent the company's brand at major industry trade shows and events to promote geographic reach and safety excellence.
  • Conduct regular reviews of sales pipelines to ensure reps are meeting activity targets and conversion goals.
  • Communicate regularly with the CEO and Board of Directors regarding enterprise growth, revenue contribution, and strategic roadmap progress.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales culture rooted in a "blue collar" work ethic combined with professional enterprise sophistication.

Required Experience
  • 10-15+ years of progressive business development or sales leadership experience within the commercial construction industry.
  • Specific experience working for a specialty subcontractor (Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, or Civil) selling directly to General Contractors.
  • Enterprise Sales: Proven track record of managing large-scale accounts across multiple geographies and negotiating MSAs.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the commercial construction lifecycle and the "mushrooming" effect within large GC organizations.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel to regional offices and client sites.
  • Desire to work within a Private Equity-backed company and understanding the cadence of growth-driven reporting.
  • An existing "rolodex" of senior-level contacts at national General Contractors.
