VOICE / TELECOM NETWORK ENGINEER
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a skilled Voice & Telecom Network Engineer to join a Voice Services team, supporting the design, deployment, and maintenance of Fixed Line and VoIP services across SBC and softswitch-based platforms, including regulatory compliance technologies such as STIR/SHAKEN and CALEA.
MANDATORY SKILLS
• 5+ years of telecom/voice engineering experience
• 3+ years with Ribbon, Metaswitch, and/or Nokia/Siemens core voice platforms
• Deep knowledge of SIP, RTP, SRTP, SDP, DIAMETER, and telecom signaling
• Experience with Unix/Linux and scripting (Bash, Perl, Python)
• Solid grasp of Cisco networking - routing, switching, and security
• Strong troubleshooting and RCA documentation skills for live outages
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
• Experience with Oracle SBCs, 5ESS, and mediation/billing systems
• Exposure to cloud-native telecom (Kubernetes, Docker) and NFV environments
• Knowledge of STIR/SHAKEN, CALEA, and robocall mitigation frameworks
