We are seeking creative, motivated professional services engineers to play a key role in the successful implementation and integration of our VIA AIOps product into our customers’ environments. You will work closely with our customers and technical teams to lead the deployment process and provide ongoing support.
Responsibilities
During customer engagements, the PS engineer provides expertise in all stages of the development process including:
- Collaborating with customers to understand their application- and network-service delivery environments, requirements, use cases and objectives.
- Assisting in planning and designing deployments and integrations with our customers’ and partners’ IT infrastructure and systems.
- Deploying and implementing VIA AIOps in our customer environments.
- Developing a full understanding of the VIA AIOps architecture, configurations and capabilities.
- Configuring VIA AIOps for analytics tuning of each deployment, addressing various customer use cases and workflows while ensuring optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, working closely with customer and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
Skills
For this position we are looking for a senior software professional with excellent customer interaction expertise, effective presentation skills, and working experience in most of the following:
- Implementation of large-scale data analytics systems using big data architecture technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka and Druid.
- Implementation of medium to large-scale distributed applications based on server-side software platforms such as J2EE application servers, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Multiple server-side programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Scala.
- Integration technologies such as Web Services, REST and JMS
- Relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server with the ability to construct complex SQL statements.
- Operating Systems such as UNIX, LINUX and Windows Server with command line experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with customers and internal teams and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Willingness to travel for customer and company meetings as needed.

Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Professional Services Engineer, Deployment Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solution Consultant, preferably in the AIOps, IT operations, or IT infrastructure management domain
- Hands-on experience with deploying and configuring AIOps platforms, such as those based on machine learning algorithms, log analysis, and anomaly detection
- Experience with IT operations tools and technologies, such as ITSM, monitoring systems, and incident management platforms
- Experience with SaaS, Cloud, PaaS is desirable and will be considered as a plus
- Bachelor’s or advanced technical degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or a related field
Our customers and colleagues are located all around the world and some of the work will require being on site at the customer premises. For this position, on-site work will primarily be at customer sites in the Denver Metro Area, approximately 3 days a week. There may also be a need to travel to customer and company meetings outside of the Denver area on occasion.
