Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in virtual construction and trade-specific oversight.
• Strong background in mechanical pipe, plumbing, or sheet metal within commercial and industrial sectors.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power BI.
• Advanced skills in CAD detailing and design, specifically with AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks relevant to 3D design.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate performance of Draftsman, Designers, and Senior Designers.
• Schedule and allocate manpower across all projects requiring layout and coordination.
• Collaborate with Virtual Construction Manager and BIM Supervisor on project timelines and coordination.
• Report on project schedules and productivity metrics to the Virtual Construction Manager.
• Enforce efficient layout and coordination in line with project specifications.
• Document changes in project drawings for modifications or discrepancies during coordination.
• Generate coordination drawings and prepare necessary paperwork for task completion.
