What you'll doThe VP of Product for Solutions owns Docusign's line-of-business and vertical solutions built on the IAM platform: IAM for Sales, Procurement, HR, and CX, along with the partner-led vertical offers that extend them. This is the outward-facing half of product. Your mandate is to win the buyer, department by department, and take these solutions from early bets to repeatable, adopted, revenue-generating products. You will lead an empowered, fast-moving organization operating in a two-in-a-box model with Engineering. Your teams assemble world-class experiences on top of the shared platform rather than rebuilding it. Success is measured in adopted deployments and engaged usage, not launches.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the Chief Product Officer.
Responsibility- Own the IAM-for-X portfolio strategy and roadmap across Sales, Procurement, HR, and CX, and adjacent line-of-business workflows
- Define the vertical strategy and its partner-led motion, enabling systems integrators and vertical ISVs to build healthcare, real estate, financial services, and public sector solutions on Docusign schemas and obligation libraries
- Tier the portfolio with discipline: decide which solutions we resource directly, which go partner-led, and which we stop
- Drive solution-specific user experience, packaging, and integrations into each function's system of record (CRM, ERP, procurement, and HRIS platforms)
- Establish and scale a forward-deployed engineering motion that manufactures the first reference wins and templatizes them for repeatable deployment
- Partner tightly with the field and go-to-market leadership; carry engaged-usage goals, not just bookings, and align solutions to how customers buy
- Consume the shared platform, Iris AI services, eSignature core, and the agreement repository rather than forking them; push requirements back into those teams
- Build and lead a flat, empowered organization of product leaders operating in two-in-a-box with Engineering and Design
Job DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)
Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. Preferred- Deep domain fluency in at least one target function: sales operations, procurement, HR, or customer experience
- Track record building partner and ecosystem strategies, including SI and ISV motions, not only first-party features
- Experience running small, autonomous teams that experiment, make reversible decisions quickly, and ship without waiting on handoffs
- Strong portfolio judgment, including a willingness to tier and cut honestly
