Vice President of Sales - Mining (Canada) Location: Canada (Hybrid - Monthly travel to Montreal) A growing global mining equipment business is seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive the next phase of its North American growth. This is a rare opportunity to join an established organisation with ambitious expansion plans, where you'll lead a global sales organisation while playing a key role in shaping the company's long-term commercial strategy. With the current President planning to retire within the next few years, this role offers a genuine succession pathway into executive leadership. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global commercial strategy, leading an international sales team and driving profitable growth across the mining sector. You'll inherit a strong platform while being empowered to modernise the commercial organisation, strengthen strategic account management and build a high-performance sales culture. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the global commercial strategy. Lead and mentor an international team of Regional Directors and Territory Managers. Drive revenue growth across both existing customers and new business opportunities. Build stronger strategic relationships with major mining companies and EPCs. Coach the commercial organisation towards a more consultative, value-driven sales approach. Partner closely with product management, operations and executive leadership to deliver sustainable growth. Support the company's ambitious growth plans over the coming years. About You We're looking for a commercially driven executive who understands the mining industry and has successfully led sales teams within a technical OEM environment. You'll likely bring: Significant leadership experience within the mining equipment, mineral processing or mining technology sectors. Strong knowledge of comminution, mineral processing or related mining technologies. Experience selling capital equipment, aftermarket solutions or engineered products. A proven track record of developing high-performing commercial teams. Strategic leadership combined with a hands-on approach to winning business. Experience managing complex customer relationships across multiple regions. English and French language skills would be highly advantageous. What's on Offer Executive-level compensation package.
