Acting as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, this executive will help shape Chase's long-term growth strategy, identify attractive markets and applications, strengthen pricing and go-to-market capabilities, and improve new-product commercialization. The successful candidate will be a commercially oriented, customer-centric leader who can connect strategy, market insight, product development, and technical execution while building high-performing global teams. For an executive who demonstrates sustained impact, this role offers the potential to assume broader enterprise leadership responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define a clear commercial and product vision aligned with Chase's growth strategy and investment priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase revenue, expand margins, enter attractive markets, and deepen customer penetration.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to translate strategic priorities into measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Support strategic planning, acquisition evaluation, commercial due diligence, and integration activities.

Product Portfolio & Market Development

  • Lead global product and portfolio strategies across markets, applications, customer segments, and geographies.
  • Evaluate market attractiveness, competitive position, growth potential, profitability, lifecycle stage, and investment requirements.
  • Provide clear direction on where to invest, grow, reposition, rationalize, or exit.
  • Develop differentiated value propositions and go-to-market strategies based on customer needs, product performance, and market dynamics.

Innovation, R&D & Commercialization

  • Set the strategic direction for R&D and align the innovation pipeline, product lifecycle, and development priorities with customer needs and commercial growth opportunities.
  • Establish disciplined prioritization, stage-gate, resource allocation, and commercialization processes.
  • Accelerate technical concepts into scalable, manufacturable, and commercially successful products.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive effective launches and customer adoption.

Marketing, Pricing & Customer Insights

  • Develop and execute a global marketing strategy, including planning, budgeting, market intelligence, communications, and performance reporting.
  • Build customer, market, and competitive insight capabilities to guide portfolio, pricing, and innovation decisions.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to strengthen pricing strategy, price realization, margin management, and commercial discipline.
  • Guide segmentation, channel strategy, brand positioning, product messaging, and sales enablement while maintaining direct engagement with key customers and industry stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing global teams across Marketing, Product Management, and R&D.
  • Establish clear priorities, decision rights, performance expectations, and accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture that encourages innovation, commercial rigor, and constructive challenge.
  • Strengthen cross-functional alignment and lead effectively through growth, organizational change, acquisitions, and evolving business priorities.

Performance Measurement & Value Creation

  • Define and monitor KPIs across revenue growth, market share, pricing, portfolio performance, innovation, and commercialization.
  • Track new-product revenue, customer adoption, product profitability, price realization, speed to market, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Establish a disciplined operating cadence and champion continuous improvement across strategy, product management, pricing, marketing, and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years leading strategic marketing, product management, product development, innovation, or related commercial functions within global, growth-oriented organizations.
  • Demonstrated success delivering organic revenue growth, market expansion, margin improvement, and portfolio optimization.
  • Proven experience leading R&D or technical product development teams through product lifecycle management, commercialization, and new-product introduction.
  • Experience developing and executing market, product, pricing, portfolio, and go-to-market strategies, with a strong record of partnering with Sales to improve commercial conversion.
  • Proven ability to build and develop high-performing global teams and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders through periods of growth and organizational change.
  • Experience with technically complex products, supported by strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication skills, judgment, and the ability to influence senior leaders, Board members, customers, and cross-functional teams, with high ethical standards and an appreciation for quality, regulatory, compliance, and reputational risks.
