BNY is seeking a high-impact, strategic leader for the role of Vice President, GP&T Go-to-Market Commercialization. As part of the Commercial organization individual will play a critical role in shaping how Global Payments & Trade solutions are brought to market for our Commercial Sales and Client Service teams to adopt and position for commercial success. Working closely with Product, Sales, Service and cross-functional partners, this person will help translate product innovation into actionable commercialization strategies that prepare our client facing teams, strengthen market readiness, and drive business growth.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Partner closely with Product and key stakeholders across the Global Payments & Trade organization to design and execute go-to-market and commercialization plans for new and evolving solutions
  • Connect priorities across a broad range of Global Payments & Trade products and capabilities to create cohesive commercialization strategies that support client and business needs
  • Lead cross-functional readiness efforts to ensure Sales, Service, and Onboarding teams are equipped to successfully support product launches and migrations
  • Support launch execution through disciplined project management, strong stakeholder coordination, and clearly defined success metrics
  • Develop strategic messaging, communications, and training plans that support effective internal alignment and external positioning
  • Create and refine commercialization materials, including product messaging, sales collateral, storytelling, and presentations
  • Conduct market, competitor, and internal research to identify opportunities, inform strategy, and enhance go-to-market effectiveness
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and research capabilities to accelerate insights, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making
  • Apply strategic thinking and sound judgment to solve problems, manage competing priorities, and advance high-impact initiatives

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Experience in commercialization, go-to-market strategy, product management, marketing, or strategic business execution within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of Global Payments & Trade, payments, transaction banking, or related product domains preferred
  • Proven ability to work effectively across Product and cross-functional stakeholder groups in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives and drive execution with discipline
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize information across a wide range of solutions and translate complexity into actionable plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, address gaps, and recommend practical solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools and research capabilities to improve productivity, generate insights, and enhance work quality
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including presentation development and data analysis

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents.
